Anadolu University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Associate Professor Dr. Emrah Ayhan participated in a conference organized by The Korean Association for Public Administration (KAPA), one of the most important research institutes in the field of public administration.

Dr. Ayhan was a keynote speaker at the "Harmonious Development of the Central and Local Governments" conference held in Boryeong, South Korea, which was attended by numerous universities from around the world. At the conference, which was also attended by Associate Professor Dr. Ayhan and Boğaziçi University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Murat Önder, knowledge sharing took place with academicians from different countries of the world about the opportunities and risks of digitalization in public administration with the presentation titled "Public Administration in the Digital Era: Opportunities and Challenges of AI".

"The long-standing friendship between South Korea and Turkey has been strengthened"
Providing information about the conference he attended, Associate Professor Dr. Emrah Ayhan said the following in his speech: "Thanks to KAPA, which was held with international participation and was very efficient, the synergy created by academicians improved the long-standing friendship between South Korea and Turkey. At the conference, various topical issues including the transformations brought about by digitization in public administration were assessed comprehensively. We also had the opportunity to evaluate Anadolu University's partnerships in public administration and opportunities for Erasmus and MOU agreements, which envisage student and academic exchange among universities with academicians from different countries."
