Osmangazi Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (OEDAŞ), Türkiye'de yenilenebilir enerji kurulu güç bakımından yüksek sırada yer alan elektrik dağıtım bölgesinde hizmet veren bir şirkettir. Bu alandaki çalışmalarını hızlandırmak için akademik çevrelerle işbirliklerine devam ediyor. Bu kapsamda, OEDAŞ'ın hizmet verdiği illerden biri olan Afyonkarahisar İl Müdürü Cafer Demir, Afyonkarahisar Kocatepe Üniversitesi Güneş ve Rüzgar Enerjisi Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi (GÜRAM) Danışma Kurulu üyesi oldu. Demir'in merkezdeki görev süresi üç yıl olarak belirlendi.

Osmangazi Electricity Distribution Company (OEDAŞ), which serves in the electricity distribution zone that ranks high in terms of renewable energy installed capacity in Turkey, continues its collaborations with academic circles to accelerate its work in this field. In this context, Cafer Demir, the Provincial Director of Afyonkarahisar, one of the cities served by OEDAŞ, has become a member of the Advisory Board of the Solar and Wind Energy Application and Research Center (GÜRAM) at Afyonkarahisar Kocatepe University. Demir's term in the center has been determined as three years.

"Vision of GÜRAM and OEDAŞ in renewable energy perfectly align"
Cafer Demir stated that OEDAŞ carries out studies to ensure the successful integration of renewable energy into the grid and participates in EU projects conducted in this framework. He said, "The vision of GÜRAM, which conducts current research on renewable energy systems and turns these researches into practical applications, perfectly aligns with the vision of OEDAŞ in this field. In the transformation process that will thoroughly examine all possibilities for this integration, we will contribute to the development of future smart technologies by discussing and exchanging ideas. On the other hand, this duty sets an example in terms of the importance of collaboration between the private sector and academia."

GÜRAM, which continues its activities with the mission to conduct renewable energy research, provide education, and serve the community, considers the implementation and use of different technologies in energy research as a social responsibility project. The center aims to promote the widespread use of renewable energy in Turkey.
