1380 Yılında Osmanlıca Yazılan Kitap, Günümüz Türkçesine ÇevrildiAfyon Kocatepe University (AKU) Faculty of Fine Arts, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department hosted the "Queen of the East: Antakya" photo exhibition, which opened on May 16th at the AKU Faculty of Fine Arts Education Building. The exhibition, consisting of photographs by Architect Mahmut Ülküer Abi from Afyonkarahisar and AKU Faculty of Fine Arts graduate Interior Architect Aliye Deli, was opened with the participation of AKU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Peker, Faculty of Fine Arts Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Selçuk Akçay, Vice Deans, Department Chairpersons, academic staff and art lovers.
The photos, which will be exhibited until May 26th, will continue to meet the people of Afyonkarahisar in the AKU M. Rıza Çerçel Culture and Art Center from June onwards. The exhibition features photographs of the traditional architectural texture of Antakya, one of the areas where the greatest damage occurred in the earthquake disaster that took place on February 6th, highlighting the buildings and streets that were severely damaged in the earthquake.
